Rachel Boketa
Senior Director Gender and Community Development
Mr. Serigne Diouf has a very large business background. Mr. Diouf graduated with a business degree (Accounting) and became an auditor. He founded the non-profit organization Africa Better Days in 2015 for the education of the children of the streets in Senegal, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Gambia. He has also been part of the 125 young people selected to attend the White House Conference in 2015. Mr. Diouf is also very well connected in the region.
Henri Bonina has vast experience working with COCAF sarl, which was founded by his father in 1977 and operates multiple businesses. Mr. Bonina is also very well known in the Central African region. Henri has numerous contacts and experience dealing with many business partners in Africa, as well as Europe and America. Henri has attended leadership conferences such as USHLI (United States Hispanic Leadership Institute) in Chicago and Black Student Leadership at Yale University.
Rachel Boketa is a Project Manager and Gender Expert, with 20+ years of experience in the development and
humanitarian sector, of which the past fifteen years working on and promoting gender equality and women’s
empowerment, through her tenure with UNICEF, USAID, UN Women and Swedish Sida. Certified “Gender Pro”
from the Global Women’s Institute of the Georges Washington University (Washington DC/USA). Rachel has strong
capacity building skills and excel at conducting gender analyses to inform policies, strategies and projects. Rachel
has served in leadership roles such as Country Director at Women for Women DRC, Acting Country Representative
for UN Women in the DRC and Deputy Team Leader with USAID. Rachel holds a master’s degree in development
studies from the Catholic University of the Congo (Kinshasa/DRC).

Adefunke Adeyemi
A lawyer and aviation expert, she is currently the Regional Director, Advocacy and Strategic Relations, Africa for the International Air Transport Association (IATA), advocating for the overall sustainability and growth of the aviation industry in the region and the intermediary between airlines, the wider aviation community and the general public. She conceptualized and is responsible for an ongoing campaign to promote Africa’s socio-economic prospects through enhanced air connectivity across the continent.
Funke is also the founder of a business and legal advisory service, Africa Advocacy (Consulting) Services, a pan-African one-stop shop for Advocacy and Implementation across specific sectors outside of aviation.

Barbara Bramble
With more than three decades of experience at the National Wildlife Federation, Barbara has developed innovative approaches to reform the environmental and social policies of financial institutions such as the World Bank. Her work was also aimed at reducing the negative environmental and social impacts of international trade agreements, establishing establish voluntary certification systems to promote sustainable forest and agriculture products; and increasing U.S. contributions to international voluntary family planning, reproductive health, and education for girls and women. She was a key organizer of the International NGO Forum at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. She worked closely with Mexican NGOs for several years to enhance their advocacy and environmental education skills.

Jane Wilkinson
Jane has worked on international concerns in government and non-government contexts for more than 15 years working on international climate policies and the Green Climate Fund. She has a background in international and human rights law. In 2010 she was appointed Senior Advisor to one of Australia’s key climate influencers, Professor Ross Garnaut, and to the UN Secretary General’s Advisory Group on Climate Finance. Jane founded She is Epic LTD to pursue her dream – of a climate-safe world in which women and girls thrive, and where future generations can enjoy a rich, diverse and healthy natural environment. Jane currently provides strategic advice to the European Union’s Global Climate Change Alliance Flagship initiative (GCCA+).

Paul Meeks
Paul has 30+-year experience in CIO, portfolio manager, and private and public equity analyst investing in tech, growth, and sustainable companies.
